At Valet Norwest, we’ve been helping Sydney families and businesses feel safe and connected for over 40 years.

Founded in 1983 by Peter Schein under the original name Advance Alarms, our business began with a simple goal: to provide reliable residential and commercial security systems backed by genuine, personalised service. From day one, Peter built lasting relationships by going the extra mile for every customer - a tradition that continues today.

As the company grew, so did our services. We expanded into CCTV surveillance, intercom systems, ducted vacuum systems, and more - always choosing trusted, high-quality brands and prioritising care in every installation. Incredibly, we still service some of our original clients from over 35 years ago.

A Second Generation Continues the Vision

In 2009, Peter’s son Damien joined the business, learning the trade from the ground up. By 2019, he had officially stepped into the day-to-day operations, bringing fresh energy while maintaining the same values that shaped the business from the beginning: honesty, quality, and a personal touch.

Today, Valet Norwest combines hands-on experience with modern technology - offering customised solutions in alarms, CCTV, intercoms, Starlink installations, ducted vacuum systems, and data cabling for both homes and commercial properties.

The People Behind the Service

  • Paul & Kaylan Lowman

    Paul joined Peter back in 1987 and has been a cornerstone of the business ever since. In recent years, his son Kaylan followed in his footsteps - continuing the family tradition with fresh ideas and dedication to the craft.

  • Aaron

    Aaron has been part of our team for over four years, contributing his expertise two days a week while also running his own electrical business. He brings a valuable skill set and deep knowledge of security induction processes.

  • Dianne

    Running the office with efficiency and care, Dianne is the friendly voice our customers hear first. Her organisation and attention to detail help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
